And you daren't log on

'Cos you're  scared to find the last boat's gone?

When the letter lies unopened on the mat,
Because you feel
You just can't deal with that;
More trouble when you just don't need it -
It hasn't happened, 'till you read it.
And so you leave it lying there
And reach for the telephone in despair -
