In the corner of the schoolyard
Stood a tree -
What kind of tree
(Class, type, make, model)
Was of no concern to me -
It was just a tree.
Then I learned about trees
And so was able
To give this tree
A label,
But the label washed off
In the rain, and now
It's just a tree
Again.
