Now look here, JR, lets have none of this nonsense about age! You are but a young sprightly lad, and English, to boot! The sort that any self-respecting mademoiselle would be only to pleased to be 'run off' with. Moving to France, eh. Sounds to me like you are bent on sneaking into England by the back door. Although France is, I think, not a bad country in which to be domiciled. It would be good to see you again - either in France or in this fair land (now with a stable Conservative government!!) Just had a thought about your leaving America: the FEDS are not on to you, I hope. Keep in touch.
