Announcing a Major Retrospective

For all readers of my blog who are lovers of the fine arts.

Here is a sneak preview of one of the still-life photographs in my Major Retrospective Exhibition which will open at the Assemble Rooms - Great Sankey. (date to be announced)

 Plug with plughole

Limited edition prints of this and other pictures will be on sale at the exhibition, or may be ordered from this website.

Sir

I am impressed by your 'plug with plughole' symbolising, as it does, suburban conflict as a manifestation of the old male/female dichotomy.
One cannot help but empathise with both parties, trapped in the smooth barren wasteland of a 'washbasin' - a metaphor for the shiny, sanatized, artificial world of suburbia.
The male 'plug' is chained and has limited freedom, while the female 'plughole' is literally anchored in the very porcelain of this unnatural artefact (SOCIETY).
Such a powerful statement encapsulated in a (misleadingly) simple image.
I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Fabulous! I believe I can see a manifestation of Jesus in the loop of the chain.

This is ridiculous. Are you all mad?
It's just a photo of a plug in a washbasin.

If you really do have a major retrospective, let's see some more examples!!
