There is an old joke: Two hippopotamuses basking in the mud. One says to the other -
I keep thinking it's Thursday.
Today is 'Saturday', humanly speaking, but does it matter? It's raining - but does that matter either?
By the way - I haven't got a dog - or a hippopotamus.
